KITA (Chairman: Jin Sik Yoon), the Embassy of Chile, ProChile* and InvestChile** co-hosted Korea - Chile Business Forum on Thursday, 30 October at the Shilla in downtown Seoul.

** An institution under the Ministry of Economy, Development, and Tourism dedicated to attracting investment
This forum was organised to coincide with the Chilean President Gabriel Boric’s visit to Korea to attend APEC Summit 2025. From the Korean side, approximately 170 representatives from key companies and relavant institutions attended including KITA Chairman Jin Sik Yoon and OCI Chairman Woohyeon Lee, who is also the Head of Korea - Chile Economic Cooperation Committee, LS MnM CEO Donghwi Goo. From the Chilean side, approximately 30 people from the government and the private sector attended, including President Gabriel Boric, Foreign Minister Alberto van Klaveren, Director Karla Flores from InvestChile, General Director Ignacio Fernandez from ProChile.
Two business roundtable meetings were also held, which were each dedicated to cooperation in investment and cooperation in agriculture.
