KITA (Chairman: Jin-Sik Yoon) hosted a seminar on global logistics strategies in response to new U.S. tariff policies on Wednesday, 28 May at the Trade Tower in Seoul. A total of 200 representatives engaged in the trading business sector attended the seminar.
As uncertainties of the global logistics sector are mounting due to the U.S. suspending tariffs against China and requiring fees on Chinese ships entering the U.S., this seminar was organised to offer insights from maritime and air logistics experts and discuss on strategies for companies engaged in the trading sector.
Presentations on the following topics were also delivered: a) the current situation of supply chains between Korea and the U.S., b) the prospects of the maritime/air logistics markets and c) strategies of trading companies in line with a shift in the trading environment.
