Gateway to Japan Economies

The Tokyo Branch of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) was established in 1948 to promote bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Korea and Japan, to help Korean companies expand their presence in the Japanese market, and to advocate for their rights and interests.

Through various collaborations with the headquarters and related organizations in Japan, the Tokyo Branch strives to provide tangible benefits to member companies by supporting them to participate in trade fairs and market opening missions, arranging and counseling on import and export transactions, providing information on Japanese economic and market trends, and investigating and recommending business difficulties of Korean companies in Japan.

We also serve as the secretariat of the Korean Business Association (KOBA), founded in 1993, and strive to serve as a bridge between the government and industry in Japan and Korea.

As a business facilitator for our member companies, the KITA Tokyo branch promises to be a partner in developing the Japanese market.
