Gateway to China Economies
KITA Shanghai Branch was established in June 2002 to support the market development and local activities of our member companies and small and medium-sized enterprises in Shanghai and South East China, rapidly emerging as the center of China's economy.
The branch's main tasks include supporting market development delegations and various trade missions visiting China through close cooperation with the headquarters and Beijing office, dispatching Korean product buying missions to China and arranging buyers for exhibitions, trade brokerage, and trade consultation, promoting exchanges and cooperation with provinces in China's southern and inland regions, and product market research and industrial and logistics trend research in China.
In addition, we benchmark Hong Kong and Macau's economic and trade trends and Shanghai's strategy to become a financial and logistics center in Northeast Asia and strive to develop concrete measures to build a country at the center of Northeast Asia's economy.
KITA Shanghai will serve as an outpost for market development and export promotion of Korean companies in the Southeast China region and will be a guide for their entry into China.
