Korea
International Trade Association (Chairman: Christopher Koo) and Gaion (CEO:
Hyeon-seop Gang) - a company providing AI-based big data analysis information
on trade, signed a “Memorandum of understanding (MOU) on providing platform
services to support discovery of buyers overseas” on December 22nd
at the Trade Tower in Samseong-dong.
With the
signing of this MOU, KITA will be provided with 120 We-trade accounts that
allows access to customs clearance and transaction information of the U.S.,
Russia and India. The annual value of 120 We-trade accounts is estimated to be
at around KRW 400 million (approx. US$350,000).
KITA’s Membership
Service Department, 12 Regional Branches and export consultants will utilize
the provided information and the collected information will be used to support
companies with limited overseas marketing capability that are new to the
exporting business sector. These companies will receive assistance with
discovering potential buyers in their target countries.
