The Korea International
Trade Association (Chairman: Christopher Koo) and China’s No.2 on/offline
distribution enterprise Suning.com co-hosted ‘Webinar and Product Consultation for Chinese e-Commerce Market
Entry’ on April 29th.
During the online event,
which took place all day long, consultations on products from over 90 Korean
companies were conducted with four Taobao Partners and Suning merchandisers in
various departments including beauty, household products, and foods.
The consultations were not aimed
for immediate business contracts between buyers and sellers but for practical
promotions through which merchandisers and TPs can try samples and thoroughly
review the products, yielding long-term benefits for Korean companies’ entry
into the Chinese Market. The meetings provided Korean companies with helpful
information including product competitiveness, reasonable price ranges,
distribution routes from Korea to China. Some promising products will even win
a chance to be presented on Suning’s online platform.
