The
Korea International Trade Association (Chairman: Kim Young-ju), the Chinese
Embassy in Korea, and China Lab co-hosted ‘2021 Korea-China Business Strategy
Forum’ online on November 25th.
About
ten people including Vice Chairman Han Jin-hyun of KITA, Ambassador Xing
Haiming and entrepreneurs from both countries attended the forum and discussed
economic cooperation measures of the two countries under China’s ‘dual
circulation’ economy.
‘Dual
circulation’ is China’s future economic development strategy for the next five
years (2021~2025) suggested by General Secretary Xi Jinping back in May. The
strategy divides the Chinese economy into domestic circulation and
international circulation, and civilian
consumption and new industries, which fall under the domestic circulation, are
set as the core part of economic development and policies.
