Partnership Proposal: Startup Meet-UP on Business Trip
    - In support of cross-border business activities and innovation ecosystems

The unprecedented COVID-19 crisis brought everyone to the realization that innovation is a pivotal solution to overcoming the difficulties we face. With this in mind, KITA (Korea International Trade Association)’s Growth and Innovation Team would like to suggest partnering up businesses to support innovative growth by bridging entrepreneurial ecosystems across the world. Therefore, we would like to propose a program.

Program Description: Startup Meet-UP on Business Trip
Through this program, KITA aims to arrange networking opportunities for global business partners, which have been put on hold due to the COVID-19 crisis. We are well-aware that business trips are minimal in times like this; therefore, it would be more important for our partners to seize every opportunity when traveling to Korea.

In summary, if there is any request from business delegations coming into Korea, KITA will arrange meetings with three to five Korean startups based on the delegation’s areas of interest. This program applies to anyone from the HQ of our global partners planning to visit Korea for their own business purposes.

    We will also provide:
    · Meeting arrangements with three to five Korean start-ups
    · Venue for business meetings
    · Aid on communication among business partners
    · Future meeting arrangements with different enterprises or organizations
    · If needed, others

Below is the process of collaboration for this program:

The main goal of this program is to help incoming business partners to Korea utilize every second of their valuable time while in Korea. This program can also help overseas businesses to explore new innovative ecosystems, share ideas, and find mutually beneficial collaborative opportunities with Korean startup companies.

If appropriate, we would like to politely request embassies/chambers of commerce or any other related organizations in Korea to promote this program within the business networks of respective countries. We are confident that this program will strengthen economic and business ties during these difficult times.
