Export MC Committee consists of 72 export specialists who were in charge of overseas marketing for 30 years at large companies and medium enterprises such as Samsung and LG. They directly visit the trade sites all over the country and solve the difficulties that arise throughout the entire export process, including overseas market research, finding buyers, contract and settlement, etc.

At ‘The Meeting to Share MC Expert Committee’s achievements of the First Half of 2019’ hosted by the Korea International Trade Association (Chairman, Kim Young-joo) at the Trade Tower at Samseong-dong, the participants introduced export supporting status as well as a variety of success stories.

MC members visited 5,117 companies nationwide in the first half of this year and handled 7,707 consultations. Last year, they supported 813 companies with less than 100,000 dollars export and 168 companies’ exports increased. In particular, of the 444 companies focusing on domestic sales, 69 were transformed into export companies with the help of MC members and their exports reached 3.9 million dollars.

At that time, I met MC members. During the consultation, we were advised that if export margin is high despite the smaller export volume, it was worth exporting. Afterwards, we were also introduced export support project and we successfully exported about 10 million won in a month.

Kim Chun-soo, a MC member who were in charge of overseas sales of textile, fashion and chemicals at Hyosung for twenty years, said We immediately visit the companies that are struggling with any problems such as obstacles in exporting, difficult contract conditions, collection of money, etc. It feels highly rewarding when the companies with no export experience take the first step into overseas markets through the consultations.
