    China’s Powerful e-Commerce Jingdong Visits Korea to Seek Korean Brands

    The Korea International Trade Association (Chairman Kim In-ho), Jingdong (CEO, Liu Qiangdong)and China Economic Network (CEO, Wang Xudong), China’s national economic portal website, signed a business agreement and held a seminar on the entry strategies to China's online market through Jingdong at Koreana Hotel in Seoul on September 12 (Tuesday).

    Upon this memorandum of understanding, the three organizations, the Korea International Trade Association,, and the Chinese Economic Network will cooperate in various fields by helping Korean companies enter into and promoting them, holding joint events such as bilateral seminars and conferences and spreading awareness of e-commerce, and producing broadcast content relating to Korean products shopping in China.


    Kim Jung-kwan, vice president of the Korea International Trade Association, said With this business agreement, we hope that economic exchanges between the two countries, which have been declining for a while, will increase and will be another good channel for excellent Korean products to be introduced to Chinese consumers. 


    Meanwhile, officials from the organizers of the event as well as both governments, including the vice-chairman Kim Jung-kwan of the Korea International Trade Association, Li Xi Vice District Governor and Lei Yue the CE SeniorVice President took part in the event.
