    KITA held the 17th Global Trade Intern Dispatch Ceremony

     

     

     

    The Korea International Trade Association (Chairman, Kim In-ho) hosted the 17th Global Trade Intern Dispatch Ceremony at COEX in Samseong-dong on 16th (Monday). Since 2000, KITA has been implementing the Global Trade Internship, which is an overseas internship program for college students, with a view to fostering the future trade human resources. The program has produced over 2,000 graduates so far.

     

    Thirty-nine interns of the 17th Global Trade Internship were trained through the trade practicum, including trade practice and overseas marketing at KITA’s World Trade Academy for two weeks. They will intern at major Korean companies not only in the developed countries such as the United States, Germany, Sweden and Japan but also in the emerging countries, including China, Vietnam and Indonesia for six months. 

     

     

    Kang Ho-yeon, Secretary General of the World Trade Academy, who is in charge of the Global Trade Internship program, said The Global Trade Internship is designed to select the students with great potential and foster them to trade professionals through overseas internship experiences. He also stressed The World Trade Academy will continue to exert efforts to foster trade human resources through a variety of training programs and it will contribute to Korea’s trade development.
